Seattle, WA hasn’t had an NBA franchise in almost a decade; a logo and brand guidelines were developed and explored for Seattle’s National Basketball Associations concept basketball team Seattle Summit.
Developed brand strategy recommendations including audience prioritization, brand architecture, brand positioning, brand essence, brand line, image attributes and key messages by the audience.
Created a new corporate identity and creative expression, including the name Seattle Summit, which is derived from the summit of Mt. Rainer which is visible throughout Seattle.
Created brand education tools including brand guidelines, brand book, ongoing internal communications and training modules for internal and external audiences.
Develop a new brand for a concept NBA franchise was both exciting and challenging. The solution needed to incorporate the previous franchises color scheme with the new name and distinctive identity. The new identity offered a unique opportunity to rejuvenate the cities excitement for professional basketball.
