Not now. Right now.

What if I sent you a link to this post and asked you to:

1. Go to this page 

2. then wait 5 1/2 hours on the page before reading. You’d probably say fuck that and leave. Actually, you’d probably wouldn’t even bother (and just say you did). I wouldn’t blame you. 

But what if I had something really important to share with you and had spent a ton of time and effort working on the message? What if it were really worth the wait and was something you needed? That kinda changes things, doesn’t it?

Enough questions. My point is easy to grasp and hard to execute. I’m talking about patience! This is probably my least favorite word that exists in the entire English language (besides the word hate). That’s saying something because English is the language that I speak and I know a lot of English words. 

OK, but seriously, I’m at a point in my life right now where I’m acting impatient because I want what I need to become reality right this moment. Or as Kanye said, “not now but right now”. I don’t want to wait 5 1/2 hours. But what if what I really need is worth the wait and the struggle with patience? 

Although I feel I’m walking a path in the valley now I know patience is required on this road to the peak.
